Silver Wizard recognized in 2026 Canada Small Business 100 List

Silver Wizard has been recognized as one of Canada’s Small Business 100 for 2026, a national initiative presented by Mastercard celebrating 100 entrepreneurs and small businesses making an impact in communities across Canada.

Founded in Toronto in 2025, Silver Wizard was created around a simple idea: technology should make life easier for older adults — not more difficult.

Silver Wizard provides one-on-one technology support for older adults in their homes and remotely, as well as free technology clinics and educational workshops at retirement residences, community centres and other community organizations. Support ranges from setting up a new device and managing photos to navigating apps, accounts, video calls and other everyday technology.

In its Canada Small Business 100 feature, Mastercard describes Silver Wizard as a “tackling one of Canada’s quietest forms of exclusion,” highlighting its judgment-free approach to digital literacy and its focus on building confidence rather than simply solving technical problems.

As more essential services, communication tools and everyday activities move online, digital confidence has become increasingly important. Silver Wizard works to bridge that gap by providing approachable, personalized support that helps older adults stay connected, independent and included.

The Canada Small Business 100, presented by Mastercard, recognizes entrepreneurs whose courage, perseverance and passion contribute to Canada’s economy and communities. The initiative celebrates the role small businesses play in driving innovation, creating local opportunities and strengthening communities across the country.

For Silver Wizard, the recognition comes as the company continues to expand its community-focused approach to technology support across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Silver Wizard is proud to be recognized alongside entrepreneurs from across Canada who are building businesses with purpose and making a difference in their communities.
